Because of this deal I started trying ATT in my area and I see that it has better reception than Verizon in the areas I roam. So it might be a good deal for me. Let's see in few days.

Also if you get this plan dont forget to turn off auto renewal or you will be charged 400 bucks

This is a good price for great service, even if not quite as slick as some of their recent deals.
My one quibble with US Mobile is that they don't seem to offer anything to existing customers. I chatted with them and they were willing to let me walk rather than letting me take advantage of the last deal or offering me anything at all to stay. So switching back and forth between them and Mint or Visible or whatever seems like the best longer term option. USM is my favorite, hands down, but if something else that works well for me is considerably cheaper, I have no loyalty for corporations who show no gratitude toward me.

I've definitely had better reception with both the Verizon and T-Mobile networks than AT&T across many states and cities.

Best source would be the coverage map on each of the actual carriers' main sites, in case USM isn't as up to date. But you can just go to usmobile.com site and click NETWORKS right at the top, it isn't exactly hard to find.

All three networks are pretty close in my area. Verizon, er Lightspeed, has the best data speeds but Warp (Tmo) has slightly greater coverage. Darkstar (AT&T) tends to be somewhere in between but is a solid choice and happens to have the best signal at my house, which was why I switched to that last year when we had a tornado and days-long power outage so I was off wifi. In most major urban/suburban areas all three are usually pretty good.
Warp is Verizon. Lightspeed is T-Mo. That being said, I HATE how USM made up these stupid code names. I can never remember.

This deal is not better than the black Friday deal (in my opinion) which was $167, choose any network and add a second for $45.

Black Friday offer was:
Unlimited Talk & Text
Unlimited High Speed Data
50GB Hotspot
20GB International Data (180+ Countries)
50% Off Multi-Network Add-On.

So $209 for two networks.

Well, the network will be better if and when they get the DISH spectrum up and running. But AT&T is saying that could take three years to fully deploy. And that's after the FCC transaction is approved, which hasn't happened yet.

If I was moving family to this, I would want Verizon. AT&T rural has horrible capacity issues after allowing unlimited LTE hotspots back in 2017-2018.
I had terrible reception with T-Mobile in my city's suburbs and on a road trip through a couple states while my partner was excellent throughout on AT&T. I had AT&T previously as well and always found it to be high quality. All depends on where you are. T-Mobile did just add US Cellular which may have given them a big boost in certain parts

Make sure to zoom in very far if you'll be in a specifically area a long time. They sometimes show coverage on the zoom out but then you zoom in and realize it's partner or no coverage

This Slickdeal is cheaper, will give 100gigs hotspot, and don't have to wait nearly a year. I've also read a bit about additional battery drain running two networks (I haven't looked into this much so can't confirm or deny). I've been following US Mobile for 5 months and this is the best offer I've seen for someone who needs one or two lines on Dark Star.
Anyone can review their past and current promos, just an fyi, Google "US Mobile Promo Archive"

The easiest way to remember is this . . . the three names that USM uses are in the same alphabetical order as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

There's a difference in offering a low, below cost price to attract a new customer vs offering that price to an existing customer. I assume you understand why this works the way it does. Yes, if it was continuously cheap and better that would be awesome.
I doubt US Mobile incurs >$195 to add a customer. Their network costs are mostly fixed. They're playing the marketing game assuming an acquired customer is willing to pay more upon renewal than constantly switch back and forth, or remember to. And I'm sure they're right. Not generally offering all offers to existing customers certainly nets US Mobile more $

Some companies (see recent Visible) WILL allow existing customers to get new customer offers if you chat. They wouldn't do that if it were a losing proposition.

I did not see smartwatch included when I clicked "What's included in your plan." How can I add the smart watch service?

FWIW I switched from Mint (had it for about 7 years ...) to US mobile when it was a BOGO annual plan, and I've had ZERO issues in suburban Philadelphia.

I'm on a train commuting to work and still great.

With all these 3rd parties, who actually uses real ATT/Verizon/T-Mobile?? RIP Sprint.

It depends on if you need to use a lot of Hotspot. The "67" deal was for your choice of networks. Which I'm realizing was actually the deal prior to the black Friday one.

I figured out the hard way that you cannot add a smartwatch with the same number on Dark Star/AT&T. You have to purchase a standalone plan and your watch will have a different number. It seems there's a way to get your stuff like texts and calls to work with your phone but there are a ton of hoops to jump through and using stuff like call forwarding. It'll gladly let you buy a companion plan but it won't allow activation of the watch saying no comparable lines were found.
can only add a companion line for a smartwatch with Warp/Verizon plans at this time.
