I think the amount of plastic waste created by these pales in comparison to other products, for example the coffee pods. Your concerns are admirable but misplaced.

Is @jelenap's comment untrue? Is it a contest as to which plastic product produces the most waste? Certainly pointing out these don't last long and therefore need to be thrown away often is useful. If anything is misplaced, it's your reply about coffee pods in an air freshener deal.

Almost everything creates waste, we don't need a comment about every product because of it.

For me, these last about 2 months a piece in small rooms (laundry room, closets). Yes, there is plastic waste but it's not anything crazy out of the ordinary. This just isn't the place to complain about it really, if it were we'd have every post about how much of an environmental waste/hazard/disaster it is. No need to get into a back and forth about how bad it is
