The fragrance used poses a:

Moderate endocrine disruption risk
Moderate non-reproductive organ system toxicity risk

Among some other pretty sketchy ingredients. It is crazy how people will jump at "deals" only looking at the price. There ARE good, affordable alternatives, but people will leap at convenience.

Been using this particular brand; i always buy when it is on sale. Awesome to apply AFTER showering; makes my beard + mustache smooth [less risk of white head of the upper lips]. Would recommend at this price point.

My suggestion would be not getting health advice from tiktok like the person you're replying to, and then buying this. It's good hair oil especially for the price.

Here is a great, actually scientific article [labmuffin.com], which explains the science-washing done by influencers trying to sell more expensive "natural" products (which, btw, are often more dangerous than "chemicals"). Nature is constantly trying to kill us.

Also, FWIW, this stuff does smell really good lol

Many of most deadly toxins on Earth are either natural or naturally derived

I think I've had my fill of seeing downvotes and "educational" posts about perfectly good products here because of GMOs or something proven toxic to spiders in lab testing. ANY product you put on or in your body comes with some assumption of risk. Nice thing is we're all adults. At some point the cacophony of "this is bad for you" silences valid claims. It's like the boy who cried wolf: truly hazardous products (e.g., vitamins containing serious amounts of heavy metals) go ignored. I'll trust Labmuffin over random thread participant any day.

I think CleverCreature was agreeing - that "natural" doesn't mean "healthy".

To be pedantic - and ONLY to be pedantic - all toxins are natural because the word toxin means "naturally occurring poison".

But to their actual point, they are correct (assuming "most deadly" means how much or little of something you need to, like, die; this is usually discussed as the LD50 - the dose required to kill half the members of a tested population).

The substances with the smallest LD50 (ie, you need the least of it to kill people) are natural. Even the most deadly man-made substances require 1,000x-1,000,000x more to be lethal than the most deadly natural toxins.

Nature is efficient af at killing.

Yes, apologies: responded in thread to wrong comment. Meant to respond to the one that was the typical pedantic schlock, ty.
