"A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade, to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless. In a world of criminals who operate above the law…" -Richard Basehart
I only remember the episode where Kitt falls in I think an acid pit and they spend most of the episode rebuilding him. I was a kid and the idea that he was dead shook me pretty hard. I guess I was a fan of the show.

My dad got me into this show when I was a kid, and I want to get this as something to remember our old times.
What do people usually use to play this, Blu-ray player and console?

For this it won't matter. Since it's Blu-ray, there's no HDR and so the usual console vs dedicated 4k Blu-ray player doesn't apply as the you don't need to worry about HDR10, Dolby Vision, etc.
Loved this show as a kid. Pretty sure I saw every episode. Can't say as an adult it aged well.
We can probably thank KR for the tech in our cars today and RoboTaxi and the funky yoke steering wheels today.
80s shows were cheesy, so there needs to be some grace given to that time. A-Team, MacGyver, AirWolf, Fall Guy, etc.
Kitt telling Michael he has a incoming message that WAL-MART has delivered the knight rider Blu-ray.Then Knight talking to Kitt super pursuit mode good buddy so we can go home and watch this Blu-ray of our younger days. When you could still Turbo boost over cars on the first try.and one more thing kitt when we get home please don't get into another fight with Amazons Alexa again buddy it's over she fell in love with the Google home speaker get over it.

Edit: Welp...apparently I'm a little slow, but I'll leave it up so folks know about the expiration.
