Packaging says compared to Cascade Platinum, I'd say it works just as well as that or Finish Quantum. I haven't used KS ones in years so can't compare directly

I was pleasantly surprised with quality on these. Nothing beats the OG Cascade Platinum in our dishwasher (and yes, we saw The YT Video and tried cheap detergent and no, it doesn't work just as well for us) but they've become outrageously expensive. We've been using these daily (with OG pods for extra dirty loads) and while I still feel OG ones are superior, these work quite well too. I'm considering switching and using OG occasionally, to save money.

I'm not a fan of the bag (it doesn't zip up well) but we're reusing an empty container from OG pods for these. Definitely recommend trying these, the price can't be beat.

From past deals, I think I have enough Cascade and Finish pods to last me until the year 2028! By the way, never stock up on Downy as it turns to pudding. I learned the hard way that there is a one year or so life expectancy.

If you're trying to be ultra cost conservative, the first thing to do is use liquid. You can get $125 Oz for like 10 bucks, and if you only put like 1 oz in for wash that's 125 washes. The next thing is to understand that the dishwasher pulls in hot water from the sink usually. However the water in the line is usually cool, so if you really want to do better for cleaning, it helps to turn hot water on the sink until it's hot right before you start the dishwasher. Then it's going to pull hotter water.
The last thing to understand is that pre-wash, if you take half your detergent and put it in there it just allows the lesser concentration to sit on them food a little bit longer. So don't skip the pre-wash and you don't have to fill up the cup all the way, just find the amount out that works for you and use that

if you can use the powder if you don't mind using it, it can be a little bit more cost conservative. but nowadays it's pretty hard to find the powder for a good price.
