Thx OP!
FYI if you have Costco membership it's on sale there: $18.99 for 82 ct (in store). Ends Jan 19.

Big fan of Alec, but I decided to go powder this year and it has been a complete disaster.
Dishes require a very thorough pre-rinse and still don't get clean, I've had to deep clean the machine twice. I may as well hand wash.
I'm going back to Cascade pacs.

Don't reach for one with wet hands…it will disintegrate the the sacks and you'll ruin several in the bucket.

Did you even listen to what he says in that video? Store bought powder underperforms compared to pods. Only his buddies powder equals or beats them.

What a coincidence.

For my money there is no better product than Cascade pods

What does work well: letting the sink run until the water hot before turning on dishwasher and squirting some liquid detergent into the machine tub in addition to the pod. Literally like one squirt.

The price of these things have really gone up. I remember the $.10 each and I can still get finish sometimes for that price. My dishes always come out clean with my Bosch dishwasher with my 10 cents tablets.

Not sure why BJ's pods are so underrated. They work better than the expensive brands.

Sam's Club are cheaper and clean better. We have very hard water and Sam's Club brand clean the best for us.

I put the pod in the sealed cup and use the liquid on the prewash divot along with the hot water sink run - works great on my modern Kitchenaid dishwasher
