What is your bar for "worth"?

If you like the BF title, I'd say yes. It plays well but there is still a grind to get weapons in the game and lackluster maps at this time. As long as you don't put much thought into it, it is a good game.

Personally, I think think Dice should stop trying to make things like RedSec and portal and focus all resources on good/more maps.

Man that's the truth and I think Arc Raiders is highly overrated but ended up playing for hours last night. Game just pulls you in.

During beta was peak sadly. Since release, the game has only gotten worse. They lied about quite a few commitments, the BR mode meant to compete with COD is nothing the community asked for and is now abandoned (lost 80-90% of players in two months), and the AI art has started. The bitter irony is it actually took down COD this year. . .but immediately fell into the same trappings that drove COD players away to begin with. These farking companies don't have a clue how to make games anymore and just chase trends they think will make more money. fark'em.

Let me paint a picture, this may be wrong but this is what I have always wondered and please add any ideas to this that cross your mind. With the introduction of every new multilayer game, this action draws away players from existing multiplayer games. Essentially killing all your old games. In 4 years that $110 dollars I spent on bf 2042 is now almost worthless because there are not enough players to start a match. Yes I got entertainment in that 4 years but look at the depreciation. Look at the product support especially cheaters. If I buy a physicals toy, at least I have something physical that I can always play with till it breaks and I may be able to fix it and my toy ain't cheating. Just my thoughts after years of buying battlefield. And I'm not trying to discourage young people from playing because I have great memories. I absolutely love when bf always had a single player because after a couple years I can finally play it on ultimate graphics quality because I finally have a gpu(still not the best) but it can handle it as I always could never afford the best gpu at that time.

And that is why 99.9% of my gaming time is single player games

For $40, yes, I'd get the game with the map issues, nerfed game weapons and other issues. At full price for $69 or worse the $100.00 Phantom Edition (my mistake) , that wasn't a good purchase. I now know to wait 3-6 weeks after the game is released to buy BF games after the price drop.
