It MAY approach $20, but last year I played the waiting game into February and ended up paying $30, the best price at that time

I believe it still costs extra to actually file state, if my memory is correct.

I'd jump on it. No point to waste time and effort on keeping track of sales to save a couple of bucks. It is splitting pennies here, but technically, if you are due a refund of any meaningful amount, you may as well file early(ier) and earn an extra buck or two in a savings account or a CD.

I have not seen any deals on Amazon yet and they typically have them this time of year. I only mention it because I tend to use all of my slow shipping credits from the holidays to buy at a reduced and/or $0 out-of-pocket cost if Amazon has a decent price.

Same here. No point in paying $15+ to e-file State when the alternative cost is a postage stamp.

So mad bought the previous stupid deal to include VPN that I don't need. So lost out on $3.

Deals are emailed to me.
Not much effort in reading email header, which includes price.

I'm waiting for $19 fed+state.

But you're right if expecting 4 figure refund
