This model (as well as most of the $60 Amazon ones) looks to have the functions on a side panel near the seat which always seemed weird to me, as it is a prime area for the splashback zone. Yeah you're gonna wash your hands after anyway, but one of the nice things of a bidet is that it allows you to minimize germ and filth exposure. I feel like the ones with remotes are easier to use and further away from the blast radius.
State of the art Ass pampering.

Plus, I like that this has a night light. Never had that with any of my previous units, and I could see that being useful.
I'm sure there are those who prefer a wireless remote, but thats just one more thing to break or lose.

Blow Drying function in these is overrated.
BTW, I cannot find the model for my current one but the features are exactly the same as this one.

The trick is how you get power to the unit. In the past, Ive either got creative with cords, or piggy backed off an existing wall power outlet to make a new wall power outlet close enough to the toilet that it could be plugged in.
As for your "install myself" question, would you feel comfortable turning off the wall water supply to the toilet, draining your tank, loosening the supply connection to the tank and or water supply, putting the adapter from the bidet kit in place, re tighten everything and check for leaks? If so, then yes, you should be fine. If not, seek assistance or hire it out.
