On the flip side, battery powered wireless cameras can keep recording if they are ripped off or if there is a power outage. The average person isn't going to have a UPS on their network equipment.
I use POE cameras that record 24/7 but there are plenty of use cases for wireless solar battery cameras. These still record to a microSD card even if they have no network connectivity.

As a person that lived next to an actual criminal, where cameras were ripped off the house - when it matters ,wireless is BS. They are unreliable and connections are blah. However, wireless has been getting better with advances in tech - see tapo 4k ptz where ot takes pictures every second instead of video for 24/7 coverage. Can't speak for the posted item, just came in here to say it looked like the smushed brother of eufy lol

Eufy has the wireless networked drive but it is not great pulling data from it. I am unsure if i have ever pulled data successfully (assuming camera was lost/damaged/disconnected) - also the fact that they only accept 2.5in HDD is a pain too. Can't get surveillance HDDs in 2.5 without tons of money. Might as well go corded . . .

It is sized only for 2.5. I know about the adapters but don't believe there is a cable for 2.5 to 3.5 without the drive and cables hanging everywhere lol
Love when people make reviews for cameras (security cameras, dash cameras, photography cameras) and just post pictures of the camera and the box and the paper it comes with. Maybe show the quality it outputs? Useless reviews.
