Well, the lowest I ever saw Optimum whey in the early 2000s was $32 or so. Honestly this isn't crazy... what is crazy is $100 for a 10lb, hard-to-use giant bag being a "good deal"

In for $43 because S&S is a joke now. A bird in hand...

ON sucks and tastes like chalk. No idea why people buy that main stream powder

Yeah. That's the experience I had with ON's creatine. It was awful. I haven't had Nutricost's whey, but I buy their creatine and it's a lot better.

This is good stuff. The unflavored especially. Mix it with some cold brew for something WAY better than any of the flavored stuff.

thanks OP - got the unflavored 5lb one - never had unflavored for so cheap. Also got another $1 off (2%) by choosing my prime day.

Is this a comment on protein in general or nutricost's offerings?

This one is my go to and love how easily it mixes, almost dissolves on its own if you let it sit for a min or 2. I only get Vanilla though.

i bought 2 of these directly from Nutricost during the last deal (2x for $75), but some comments said that there are some quality control issues and people have been finding plastic bits and pieces in the powder.

since i had ordered before reading that, i still got it delivered and been using it for a few weeks now. i dont see any issues, but can anyone else confirm or deny the rumors?
