I think these are Ok for listening to things like audiobooks and podcasts, but not so much music. I have bought some of these cheaper no-name brand but then got a deal on Shokz (I forget the specific model). You really can tell the difference in the quality of the materials used to make the two headphones. However, for the purpose of listening to audiobooks and podcasts I personally don't detect much difference in the sound quality. Maybe as a 77-year-old I am just tone deaf though. :-)

Can someone roll out an Amazon that only sells products from reputable companies that aren't stealing IP through overseas loopholes in patent law? What a blatant rip off... *checks notes*... DEMICEA. I hate what Amazon has become.

The one thing that would give me pause with these is that it uses a proprietary charging puck with exposed pogo pins. I can see that getting messed up or lost during travel and then you be left without a way to charge.

Bone conducting headphones are great. I am not sure of this brand. I originally bought Shokz branded ones and my family and I have been using them since 2019. Sooner or later the battery diminishes after around 2 years on the shokz. I have been buying the $25 dollar range ones for my last few pairs since the price of shokz is now shocking. Anyway, I wear them all of the time. I can't stand to have anything in my ear so these are perfect for me. I use them on my jetski when I am riding them as well. You can hear things around you while you are listening to music or when you are using them to talk on the phone.

I have these exact headphones. The sound quality is great until the volume is turned all the way up and they vibrate on my face. It's great for background music in a noisy place but you aren't listening to an audiobook unless it's quiet.

Never tried Shokz or the like to know if this is a brand or a tech thing.

This a great call out - at this point, no usb c is a deal breaker for me... Shokz have gone as low as $55 and I'll pay that premium for the desk saving space of charger, convenience, etc.

if you swim, do yourself a favor and get a swim version of these. there are other brands about the same price on amazon. listening to podcasts while swimming has been a game changer for me.

re-reading description, these are swim rated!

And don't forget all the counterfeit goods as well. Fake supplements and cosmetics. And mixing in bins where reputable sellers will have real products along side counterfeits with who knows what as ingredients... luck of the draw which you get.

I got the shokz openrun pro 2 for $60 used on eBay, those are a mix of bone conduction and air conduction and have much better base and a lot less vibration.

I've had different bone conduction headphones in the past and vastly prefer these

Honestly, this kind of headphones sound like trash anyways due to the tech, I wouldn't buy the name brand.
Not true, use the shockz for running and they work great. Long battery life too. Taking calls is not great on them, that's my only complaint

The built-in storage is making me consider these. Right now I use wired headphones and a Sansa clip when running. Does anyone know what audio codecs are supported?
