In case anyone's wondering: the max output of a USB-C port is 5V x 3A = 15W. Still hoping for an world travel adapter that can do 60W out of a USB-C port, but at least you can bring a conventional GaN 60W AC adapter and plug it right in the front.

there are lots of world travel adapters with 60W-120W charging in China. Philips also has one but only available in China. Perhaps you can find them online.

I'd like to believe those product listings I've seen, but I suspect they're generously stretching the... er, truth ("100W USB-C port!"). Not the first time I've seen bogus numbers on cheap products (100,000 lumen flashlight powered by a single 18650 battery, anyone?)

Where do you see that?
I see "The 3 USB C ports of travel adapter can charge up to 3.0A/60W, and the 1 USB A ports can charge up to 2.4A/12W, "

I know what you mean. I only buy reputable brands like Anker, Gongniu, or Philips. they are usually pretty accurate with the output ratings.
The Frontpage deal is listing a Baseus PicoGo 6-in-1 45W/70W GaN Travel Adapter Wall Charger w/ Retractable Cable on Amazon. You can check out this one too if you dont want to order from China.

The 5V/3A is a different variant model.
I noticed the specs on one of the product pics, but then I noticed another product pic (70W from one USB-C port) powering a Macbook. That looks promising, then.
The final test would be someone to buy it, and test it on their laptop. Any takers?

That's pretty convincing - thanks for your insight. I'll take another look at this one.

Insignia makes ones rated for 65W. It charges my MacBook Pro fine

Looking at the photos from the Amazon reviews, I did not see any 3rd party safety markings (UL, ETL, TUV...). The only one it had was CE which is a self certification.
