tbh its a crap card for a Ti but at this price, its good enough. By next summer, this card will probably be around $500 so now is the time to get it..

Eh, the AI dweebs can't maintain this datacenter expansion rate forever, bunch of speculative buying and meager profits to show for it. Unless they somehow convince shareholders to cover every square inch of the planet with AI infrastructure I expect the demand/supply will stabilize, but maybe not in short term. Either way, not buying an 8GB Ti model

Thanks OP!
Not a gamer but have lots of SD and HD that can use AI remastering. My GTX 1060 6GB has proven to be enough VRAM for current needs so should find 8GB to be fine (for now). Was going to jump on the last $150 RTX 5060 but that deal vanished immediately. Just happened to be on my PC when this come through and got lucky. Unless a 16GB deal shows up for <$300 within the return window this will be a keeper.

It went oos while I was checking out. I will take an 8gb 5060 ti for the price of a 5050. You won't do better for the price

An 8GB card in 2025 isn't a deal, it's a planned obsolescence trap

It depends on what you need it for. I don't play video games, and 8gb is enough for the work I do until the 60 series is out. Lots of people buying the 5050 and 5060 for the same price, but go on about how it's not a deal. This site used to have smart people, now it has morons who think a price mistake isn't a good deal because the item doesn't suit their personal needs. They put the non-ti version up for 250 after fixing this mistake.

For sure a price mistake. They were selling the 5060 Ti for the same price as the 5060. I was glad to see that they honored it and the people who managed to get an order in got their cards.
