tbh its a crap card for a Ti but at this price, its good enough. By next summer, this card will probably be around $500 so now is the time to get it..

Eh, the AI dweebs can't maintain this datacenter expansion rate forever, bunch of speculative buying and meager profits to show for it. Unless they somehow convince shareholders to cover every square inch of the planet with AI infrastructure I expect the demand/supply will stabilize, but maybe not in short term. Either way, not buying an 8GB Ti model

Not a gamer but have lots of SD and HD that can use AI remastering. My GTX 1060 6GB has proven to be enough VRAM for current needs so should find 8GB to be fine (for now). Was going to jump on the last $150 RTX 5060 but that deal vanished immediately. Just happened to be on my PC when this come through and got lucky. Unless a 16GB deal shows up for <$300 within the return window this will be a keeper.
