Connect: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to a metal part of the engine block or chassis.
Check Light:
Green Light: The battery has enough power; you can start the car.
Red Light: The battery is too dead; proceed to step 3.
Force Start: Press and hold the main power button (the one for the flashlight) on the jump starter unit itself for about 3 seconds until the indicator light turns green.
Start Car: Immediately try to start your vehicle.
