this didn't happen.
the employees of the publisher, Annapurna Interactive, resigned en masse for to unrelated issues.
There were no reported firings or resignations at the actual developer bluetwelve.

Can confirm. Happened two years after Stray was released. Leadership abandoned an attempt to spin off the gaming division as its own entity so the team left on their own.

Im now a "casual gamer" who was maybe a hardcore gamer 20 years ago. I really liked the game and completed it in about 10 hours exploring everything. Its not a very challenging game but I really enjoyed it, reminded me of the old days when they took risks and you had quirky games like a papa rapper or something. there is no real replay value its linear and once you know the story thats slowly revealed then there is no real point to play it again.

I own the physical copy of this. I must say, there's something very unusual about this game. I've completed it, but not without issues. For some odd reason I get physically ill whenever I play it. I can best describe it as how you feel when playing a VR game that makes you nauseous. As a matter of fact, even thinking of this game right now I can feel myself becoming sick to my stomach.
