They are useless for anything but the lightest fluffiest fresh snow. Anything wet or icey will clog the motor. Frankly a battery powered one is worthless for anything larger than a sidewalk. You'll need multiple batteries unless you're already using the system. Then the batteries rot all year. Go corded.

Works amazingly well. One battery last long time. But this battery does not work with 24v standard snow joe. So good luck finding a replacement battery
