You will need a LiPo battery and a lipo charger as well as some way to store your LiPo battery safely to run this rig. (LiPo batteries require more caution than many other batteries).

I have this model and it's a blast. Parts are cheap when they break, too.

Many of the RC companies have a consistent pricing agreements to protect local hobby shops (and tracks) and keep them in business. If you really get into the hobby it is actually a good thing.

In RC world

RTR = Ready to Run. With controller.

RTB = Ready to Bind. No controller but can Bind with your existing controller.

As you move up in the RC world you will most like buy a better controller. Then you can buy RTB RC and save some $$$.
