This is a good deal for 40lb Hickory!
If you prefer Pit Boss competition blend (Hickory, maple, cherry, oak), you can get a 40 lb from Lowes or Tractor supply for the same price.

If you have a crappy bag and they're stored outside - weeks at best.
Also helps if you live in the south.

Good price. I've also found decent priced pellets at bass pro shop. Never thought of looking there and stumbled on them.

Hickory is $9 for 20lb bags at Walmart every day. Competition blend or fruit blend is only $15 for 40lb bag.

It'll be 32lbs by the time it gets to you. I always have to search for a bag without a hole in it and then gently take it home. I can't imagine how many holes it'll get being delivered by Amazon.

I want to say they are a little more expensive around me but do those ever go on sale? I dont recall that they do.

Used to work at costco, they never go on sale (unless theres some store-specific clearance). They do put the traeger pellets on sale, but only because of the huge markup on them originally.
