I got one of these, it seems to work - but yes, leave the house and ventilate a lot before coming back into the house (I don't think it's dangerous in long term but it's quite abrasive to lungs I believe)
I ran it for 8 hours straight in a house and didnt see any damages. The built in timer has up to 120 minutes or always on (hold), use a smart switch and leave the machine itself at "hold"
Bought this a few weeks ago. We use it for 2 hours on Sundays when we go to church. By the time we come back 4-5 hours later, the house still needs to be ventilated. I have a whole home exhaust fan which do it in seconds.
