Don't use in high humidity areas. Any kind of high moisture will ruin the pads. Store in a dry place.

Use for One Closed room at a time. It's not designed for whole house.

Run a fan behind it to circulate.

Use it for vehicles too.

This unit is too small to do any damage to anything. It's not a commercial version like they use in hotels, apartments.

It will not cure cat urine stench. You'll need to remove carpet and cut out all affected wood below.

Go outside & smoke. I smoke but not to lecture anybody but if you're worried about the ozone generator causing illness maybe the smoking especially inside may be causing You & son getting sick. Just saying.....

Community Reviews

This ozone generator is mainly valued for knocking out stubborn odors in cars, bathrooms, basements, and other closed spaces. It can clear smoke, skunk, pet, and musty smells, sometimes after a short run and a good airing out, and the timer plus hold mode make it easy to leave on with a smart switch. The main caution is safety, since it should not be used around people or pets and needs heavy ventilation afterward. It can also be harsh on lungs, materials, and footwear, so it works best as a temporary odor treatment in an empty space.

Can you elaborate on that? Why?
I have a suspicion that me and my adult son are constantly getting sick because I use mine in my house with us inside. I only use it after I smoke in the bathroom or in my backroom, but I was wondering why we (especially me) were getting sick so much and it seems it can destroy your respiratory immune system.

I think I posted a review on Amazon for it. I love it. Just when using it close the door to the room, seal the vent on top of door if you have one, also a towel under the door to seal the bottom. 30min for small room is enough. Left it set for another 2hrs. Then open window let air circuit more if you want. It controls the pet odor pretty well using once a month.

Can this be used in cars? Some rain leaked into my car and soaked the headliner. It doesn't smell but it left some stains behind and I'm worried that mold might have accrued, can this machine help with that issue?

The coupon just worked for me. Sometimes (rarely, thank goodness) we get a skunk in the basement or outdoor porch. These work great for getting rid of the stink. Takes two cycles in a closed room and you definitely don't want to be there. Ozone is toxic, but it breaks back down into oxygen. I suggested to a friend that it also might be useful for getting rid of bees in his attic. Never heard if he tried it.

I was highly skeptical that this thing works. Ordered it, blasted it for about an hour and all the smell was gone.

The only thing I would highlight here is that you need to let the air out for a bit longer than recommended for ozone smell to completely disappear.

If anyone is worried about airborne mold spores get these test kits or similar type-

https://a.co/d/eHl6vdM

You will find out if you have any airborne mold.
No need for the kit - there will be mold because mold spores are everywhere around us.
