How would a 5070ti do with this monitor?
Also would I be better off with a mini led if I don't game much?

Lovely monitor; I had the previous gen but busted it when transporting. Ended up buying this one and love it.

I have been waiting to see if I can get an LG 45GX950A for no more than $1,100 OTD to pair with my 5080, but this seems like a great option as well for $700. I like the idea of the 45", but in practicality, I don't think I will take advantage of that screen area and it may actually be too much screen for most of my needs. I am thinking about getting this instead. Is there anyone who would discourage that decision for some reason?

If your primary uses cases for computing are anything that keeps a window in the same place on the screen - especially a window with static content like a web browser or spreadsheets/productivity software, you should definitely go with a MiniLED or other IPS panel. 3rd gen (this product and most others on the market, especially those on sale) OLED panels are susceptible to burn-in when being used as productivity devices. It can be ameliorated with care and maintenance, but it's something you WOULD have to deal with.
5070ti at 4k probably won't be pushing high refresh rate in AAA games unless you're using 3x-4x framegen, but that is an option and you would benefit from the increased motion clarity at 4K high refresh rate (in exchange for added input latency.) It'd also kick ass in the 1080p/480 mode if you wanted to play around with that (so long as your CPU is also high-end.)
