I love the concept of an electric moka pot so I don't have to worry about if I left the stove on, but the top of this is plastic. Wish it was glass

I have a moka pot and it is in my regular rotation.

They produce a strong, rich coffee, but it does not make "espresso".

Agreed. Moka pot coffee is certainly not espresso. You don't even grind the beans the same.

If you brew low and slow, grind as finely as you can and pack and tamp fully, you can't get close to an all crema-like brew
