Good price but it's long.
If your cell phone is on your belt, it's going to be hard to reach when jacket is zipped up.

I had a long ski jacket. that's what happened to me. I stopped wearing that jacket after a year.

Looking for a 3in1 with side zipper for easy phone retrieval

They have a few nice things but I keep reading 100% polyester. For sure not breathable. Bummer.

I have many winter coats.

Most are polyester/nylon to ward off snow and rain.

Can anyone comment if the jacket is water repellent or water resistant? I don't see any mention of that in the listing, some reviews claim the jacket isn't, which is strange for a Hunter…

I don't have this jacket, but the reviews are mixed, and as far as water repellancy, I look to have nylon 100% on the outershell, but in this jacket it is on the innershell, but the outershell is 100% polyester, it could repell water at best but I look to have nylon.
Outer Jacket: 100% Polyester
Inner Jacket: 100% Nylon

Breathable? Go with Goretex which should cost $300 for this size.

wool is not water proof. i got the Eddie Bauer essentials hooded down parka for $72 on clearance this week. waiting to see if it's any good.

If you want something natural and durable get waxed canvas. It's not 100% waterproof but it's highly water resistant. They also cost a pretty penny and can't just be thrown in the washer when dirty. Barbour is a well known brand, I believe Patagonia and others also make waxed canvas/cotton jackets. It won't be $60.
