I know not everybody likes this option, but you can pick up 1" iron on Craigslist or FM cheap all the time. I've seen it as low as 10 cents a pound if you just please come get it out of their house. Meanwhile, sellers on these platforms are trying to sell cheap Everyday Essentials olympic bumper plates at Rogue prices.

Everyone around me asks $2/lb for used bumper plates and free weights its nuts that I can buy new for less here
this was 28.88 last month. in the spirit of true slickdealer i'm debating buying this for $25 and returning it on the 28.88 receipt. walmart does not price match sales but there is a return reason for 'lower price'
