Woot got Cert.Refurb MSI Codex R2 AI B2NVN7-450US Desktop PC on a good price, considering just the memory module being around $500 and probably another $500 for the GPU, this is a fairly good deal. MSI does give their factory reconditioned devices 1 year warranty when registered if anyone wondering.

Not really. They had 8700G+ 5070ti 32gb 2tb for $1100 which I believe is great. You just need some patience and there will something alike pop up soon

It's a great configuration. The overclockable K CPU is great at any price. The 5060 Ti card is the non-crippled version with the full 16GB VRAM. But the price point is a bit too much for a refurbished unit. It's a good deal for sure but not the "buy now, think later" kind.

yeah, the spec looks not bad, but price is not attractive according to my recent research. I also found people nowadays prefer AMD, not sure if it is because cp ratio. In old days, people always prefer Intel.

I get that vibe too. I don't have a personal experience with AMD CPUs. I suspect a lot of it is marketing hype for gaming specifically, where AMD CPUs may have an advantage. For productivity, Intel CPUs are still generally better. And I suspect that Windows run better on Intel CPUs while Ryzens may experience some glitches or quirks (but I am reaching here due to no personal experience).
