Love this keyboard. BUT I would save for the TouchID variant

Apple's Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad is a solid macOS keyboard with the familiar Apple feel and a built in rechargeable battery over Bluetooth. The USB to Lightning cable means it can still be powered from a USB charger, and the numeric keypad is useful for everyday work. The main drawback is that this is the older Lightning model with no Touch ID, and the Windows key may not register cleanly on Mac. It is less appealing for gaming or multi device switching, making it a practical Apple keyboard if those limits are fine.

You don't need a Touch ID keyboard if you have an Apple Watch. Unlocking your Mac with an Apple Watch is more reliable and convenient than using Touch ID.

But if you want to make purchases using Apple Pay or unlock passwords or a dozen other things that can use a quick finger print.

This should be half the price with lightning. Apple should be criminalised keeping that connector for so long!
Apple caught absolute HELL for switching from the 30 pin original iPod connector because everyone bought docks and crap for them and they became useless. So they promised to keep the lightning connector for a full ten years and they did. And everyone still moaned about it.

Got a lightly used one on eBay for $19. It was in almost new condition.

I picked up a Logitech MX Keys and MX Mouse for my Mac when they were on sale and have no regrets. Way cheaper than the Apple offerings and they are rock solid devices. No touchID but It takes a few seconds to type a password.

Would you happen to know if the Logitech MX Keys is better or worse than the KeyChron K10?
