If you worked in an actual auto repair facility, NAPA delivers 3x a day, so you can get your Carlyle tools swapped out faster than probably any other brand.
I use tools daily, and the only tools that I break regularly are ratcheting combo wrenches. You drop them and all the little pieces go flying everywhere, lol.
I have a variety of wrenches, my go to saw are Allen branded from the 90s...still working fine... Made by danaher(irrc) in the USA who made craftsman wrenches then. Metric set is craftsman from 2000s.
The ones I use most..10/12mm are snap on.
Where I was working was a small shop..I told the snap on guy even tho he drives by every week he didn't have to stop every week since we weren't buying a lot, so not to waste his time. But when one of us called him he was there that week..often within 2.days. it's about your dealer and you're relationship with them.
Also..I don't know about these tests or the OF video, but Wright tool makes damn good wrenches too.my road set is Proto.
Aside..if the box end of a decent wrench slips the faster needs heat anyway...if the open end spreads, well it could be a wrench issue for cheaper wrenches or it's a user error... Should use box end for high torque anyway.

I've had a dealer refuse to warranty a line wrench because "this wrench is older than you" and he says he only warranties to the original owner.
I then called Snapon. They asked "Are you the original owner?", I said yes, and they mailed out a replacement. I told them about their idiot dealer, and they said that each dealer is an independent franchise; so nothing they could do.
Here is 1930 Snapon, 1970 Craftsman raised panel, 1960 Williams Superwrench, 2025 Craftsman Overdrive, and 2022 ICON non-slip. All these sets should last a few lifetimes....
Pretty sure these are the best value 6 point box wrenches available.
Performance looks impressive also.
I mostly use metric but SAE is handy for those times when a nut is a little too rusted and rounded to be used with the appropriate metric socket or wrench.

But with ICON, it seems the popular sets are always out of stock (especially after a parking lot sale).
And worse is that HF does not sell individual sockets or wrenches, so when you lose one, you have to call and order (you can't do it online).
Then you have to provide proof of purchase to buy a replacement wrench (can't make this up).
And then after a couple of months, your order is cancelled and you have to go through it all over again.
