I'm not sure who would pay $30 for a rubber watch band. I'm guessing the size must be proprietary.

Not at all. knock offs cost like 1/10 of the price and are almost as good.

I concur, I have purchased countless bands from trbandshop on e bay and all of them have not broken yet; on my Fenix 7x/8 or my wifes Forerunner 265 or 570.

This is a piss take. That Garmin would even set replacement band prices at this level is offensive. Makes me think everything they make is priced too high.
