This is pretty decent sale for a good external amp ime.
Don't let the numbers fool you, it provides solid clean power for 5 channels.
Ime in many cases it can easily rival the usual 11 channels AVRs sonically.
Especially if your AVR has preamp mode.
For the spec people here they are.
BTW they also have the 11 channel for $979 is pretty good also.
Circuit Topology
The BasX A5 is a five channel power amplifier. The BasX A5 combines classical audiophile amplifier architecture, based on a heavy-duty linear power supply, and a carefully designed high current short signal path Class A/B output stage, with advanced microprocessor-controlled monitoring and protection circuitry, to deliver superb sound quality at a truly reasonable price.

People often say the RZ70 is sonically better because of its power supply.
You don't have to spend $1800+ to get it. Adding this to the RZ50 likely will "rival"(upgrade) to that advantage.
If you're looking at this to improve your sonics, very unlikely this will do much with that.
I would suggest to double check your setup implementation, bass management & subwoofer implementation.
I would also suggest following this video on the Dirac calibration process.
