Who is upvoting this deal? This price should be for new, not open box, and even then it would be an okay deal. Secondly, we've had numerous deals on 16" laptops as well as 15" laptops with much better specs than this.
A 220-nit display and 60Hz refresh rate, not even the 120Hz refresh rate that Dell typically includes in most of its Inspiron laptops. An outdated processor. Says 2k screen, but it's only 1080p. No USB-C charging and a non-backlit keyboard. One would be stupid to spend $400+ on this.

Acer goes on sale on eBay with the same specs under $300 frequently.

Worth 250 in 2025. 420 in 2026 RAM crisis

Which acer screen

Apparently Acer uses several vendors IPS.LCD display ,ssd, wifi, ram for the same laptop model like Aspire AI 14.

I order #2 Acer Aspire 14 AI 226v from acer ebay. Its surprising a great laptop with 2 metal panels and IPS VA panel, intel wifi. Similar quality to Acer Swift.
Playing Avatar & Costa Rica 4k on YouTube looks gorgeous, colors are neutral. Speakers slightly better. Overall A-

The #1 Aspire 14 226v IPS looks a terrible TN with half the angles and very cheap at costco, all cheap plastic, screen door sharpness is terrible. I suspect acer used cheaper parts for warehouse laptops and tvs. Bad quality similar to Acer Vero. Overall a D.
Compared to A+ screen from $2k M1 Max and Latitude 53xxx

I'm sorry, your post got cut off. It didn't show the links to these "better" 16" laptops with 2K touchstreens, 16gb ram, and 1tb ssds....or other laptops at the same price with even better specs.

4K = 2160p thus 2K = 1080p, technically sorta, damn marketers

As someone whos owned the same laptop (Intel CPU) it is a 0/10. Ive had to make warranty claim twice so far because of broken hinge in a year of ownership. The overall build quality is horrible and my current 2nd replacement is about to crack and break again.

Glad I read the comments here. Saved me from what sounds like a mistake. Is eBay the best place for laptops these days? Not looking for the best of the best. Uses are web, 3d printer software and modeling, standard office type work producing documents and presentations, run Tax software. Would love a powered USB c to run and portable second screen.
