How do these compare to q-tip? Amazon brand quality in my expirence runs good or bad. Sometimes almost name brand quality next time complete garbage. If anyone can provide insight?

IMO, Q-Tip brand swabs have not been good in years. I find Target brand swabs better but none are like the old days.

If the cotton ever comes off the stick DO NOT USE for ears. One time the cotton came off and lodged in my ear and when I tried to pull it out it went deeper into the canal where I couldn't reach it. I had to go to the emergency room to get it removed. Can anyone confirm how loose or strong the cotton is on this brand?

They really did ruin Q-tips. They're so flimsy like the dollar store brand now. I'm going to try these and the Target brand people are suggesting.

Q-Tip is the only cotton swab brand where the entire item is 100% biodegradable and (commercially) compostable. It's like no other company wants to offer a competing product, everything else, including this Amazon brand, is inferior.

purchased these a few months ago, they're fine.

Though I haven't compared to whatever's the latest version of brand name Q-Tip; online sources say they're worse than before nowdays.

My last Q-Tip purchase was from Costco maybe a ~year+ ago... and compared to those, these are fine. The middle of these sticks seems a bit weak but no big deal. Enough cotton on the ends. It's cheaper than the usual/comparable 1875 count from Q-Tip

A 99 cent pair of tweezers solves this

Q tips have sucked for 20 years. They unravel easily. I use Walmart brand and they're perfect, even for applying Goof Off on action figures

Are these (100% cotton with paper sticks) or Target up&up brand (also 100% cotton with paper sticks) not compostable?
