Warning to people - I subscribed to these a few months ago and the next month the price almost doubled. It looks like a ploy by this company to try to hook you into the product and hope you don't notice that the price increases. I happen to personally know somebody who is on the financing side of this company and and deducing that this is a actual strategy that they are using in order to increase revenue.

With that said, I think it's a good product and I'm happy to buy at this price, but just be wary of this company shady dealings, especially on Amazon .

I don't believe the S&S maintains the originally subscribed price. It jumps back to the latest price. The typical non discounted price is 16.99 for this item. Would this explain the increase in price?

This deal has been going in and out of being on sale a lot lately. Thought I'd missed it but now it's back.

A good way to help monitor price fluctuations is to add the item to your Amazon cart, then move it over to "Save for Later".

That way, next time there's a change in price, you'll see it when you click on the "Messages about items in your cart" banner before checking out.
