This Energizer MAX AAA battery deal lands in the low seven dollar range with Subscribe and Save when the coupon is available, and shipping is free. The comments show totals around $6.49 before tax and about $6.88 to $7.79 after tax, with Florida orders sometimes showing no sales tax on AAA batteries. The main catch is that the coupon and higher discount do not appear for every account, with some seeing only a smaller Subscribe and Save discount or no coupon at all. It is a solid low cost stock up if the offer shows on your account.
Common Questions (4)
The checkout total can land around $6.49 before tax, with one breakdown showing $12.99 subtotal, free shipping, $4.55 coupon savings, and $1.95 Subscribe & Save savings. In Florida, the final amount was reported as $6.88 with $0.39 estimated tax, while another checkout showed $7.79 with no tax.
The coupon may not appear if it has already been used on a previous Subscribe & Save order, and some accounts only show a 15% off $50 select-items offer instead of the larger discount. That means the advertised savings are account-dependent and may not be available on every checkout.
AA, AAA, C, D, 6-volt, and 9-volt batteries are reported as exempt from Florida sales tax as of 8/1/25. That can explain why the checkout showed no tax on this battery order.
Yes, the subscription can be canceled after the order ships, which avoids losing the discount before fulfillment. A 6-month delivery interval gives more time to remember to cancel.

"The specific battery sizes that are always exempt from Florida sales tax are:
AA-cell
AAA-cell
C-cell
D-cell
6-volt
9-volt"
Maybe that helps. Never even heard of this new law lol. Happy New Year!
