Edit: Just found out that Florida no longer charges tax for AA, AAA, C, D, 6 volt, or 9 volt batteries

Same. Just AI'ed the answer and I'm assuming you're in Florida too since they apparently stopped charging tax on select battery types as of 8/1/25.

"The specific battery sizes that are always exempt from Florida sales tax are:
AA-cell
AAA-cell
C-cell
D-cell
6-volt
9-volt"

Maybe that helps. Never even heard of this new law lol. Happy New Year!
