Any laptop guru wants to chime in on this deal? I'd probably use it to browse webpages and stream youtube/movies. Maybe the occasional games but nothing crazy or AAA titles.

The CPU and igpu are fairly weak. It's n305 level CPU and the GPU has only two CUs.
The $200 vivobook 14 deal at best buy comes semi regularly. It has i3-1315u which is much faster.

Weak cpu and 8gb ram in 2026 is definitely weak and the ram is soldered. Should be in junk yard soon. 150 is the right price

That's a crime putting 8GB of memory on a laptop. Minimum should be 16GB

Have you seen the price for RAM? Insane! I'm told it's the folks who are trying to run servers to do AI and that our vendor doesn't see them getting any lower in 2026! Still a pretty crudy deal as a result!

Some of the RAM will be used up by the iGPU and so you'll have realistically around 6gb of usable memory leftover. This is not enough in a modern Windows 11 operating system.

You're going to unfortunately have to get use it since all pc manufacturers are going to lower the ram amount due to Ai whoring up all the ram...
