Great, here comes the MaCrOs crowd to pretend to be surprised and offended that "Big Colossal" Vanilla Caramel Churro protein bars aren't low cal diet food....

How dare they suggest that there are protein bars that are cheaper and contain fewer calories per gram of protein. (and how fun is that you are triggered before anyone even saying a word, like if you know that MaCrOs are the thing and they are not perfect here)

If you weren't 'triggered' by the deal posting to begin (and came just to complain the 2x the normal sizing size bar didn't match your Jenny Craig plan)....you never would have seen my comment. Thanks for outing yourself

And yes, you could eat a can of tuna for better calories:protein...so why don't you? Pretend problem solved.

Real talk, most of us shopping protein BULK products couldn't care less about calories, we aren't dieting, thus why we don't need constant crying that double chocolate chip ice cream cheesecake with extra crushed churro isn't 27 calories. News flash....it never ever ever will be. The sooner you realize that, the sooner your diet might succeed.

Lol, you are the only one comparing a can of tuna to protein bar. Everyone else compares similar products. That's why you don't see "Bad MaCrOs" comments in pure protein bars, quest bars or legendary pastries threads.

I thought SERIOUS BULKERS all disappeared 10 years ago (together with BULK products from the market).

What similar product have you offered for comparison? None.

My tuna joke was in jest because you are here judging a king sized candy bar for the calorie content....while suggesting nothing as an alterative. Clearly you have unrealistic expectations (and goals) if you don't understand candy bars are NOT a weight loss aid. I'm sorry but it isn't my fault nor this product's.
And who said "serious bulkers" and what does that even mean? Not to mention, where does your timeline even come from and why? LOL #projection

FWIW, I am active enough I tend to add calories not to lose weight (thus muscle). What something like this product is good for. I also eat hourly (at a min) and sometimes that requires having easy to store and eat food with me at all times. Busting out plate of chicken and rice while on a plane isn't always practical.

If any of this confuses you....you might want to look for another topic of conversation.

Happy new year and good luck with your Big Colossal Vanilla Caramel Churro diet, I am sure you'll do great!

I literally mentioned alternatives in my previous message. But my point is way less interesting and not even about this bar, but about usefullnes of other people comments about good/bad product in comparison with similar products, not with something completelly unrelated (like your tuna example).

It IS absolutelly a weight-management aid. That's why these products called protein bars, not "sugary cookies". Their mAcRoS is literally the reason why these products are so expensive. Comparing 2 products. 1 with bad macros and more expensive, and 2 with good macros while less expensive. I (and the majority of sane people) will choose option 1. So i'm grateful to folks pointing this out.
