You can add a little cocoa powder at run time to regular peanut powder if desired.. or mix some in the container and shake it up to mix it in. Been doing that for years with the Great Value brand peanut powder. It will have less sugar than the premixed cocoa variant but you can add sugar on your terms as desired.

I thought peanut butter fats were healthy.. guess im not seeing the point to using the powder?
I prefer the pure version b/c there's no sugar or salt added. Promo works on that one as well - just a little more expensive but still a great deal. Came out to $11.99 for me with s&s and 15% off discounts.

Fat is still fat. I can't tolerate real peanut butter at all any more but I can eat the defatted peanut flour. It's not the same but still has a peanut taste. I mix it roughly 50/50 with dry grape nut cereal or dry quick oats and a little of some random no sugar flavored syrup and some water to a decent thickish consistency in a small bowl for a quick snack I eat with a fork. I like the taste and texture. To each his own

Peanut butter is extremely energy dense, a 15oz jar is 2390 kcal, but if you have room for that, then it's also less than half the cost per gram of protein - 2.1 cents/g normal price vs 4.4 cents/g sale price for the powder.

Canceled my order, i mistook this for the one with 20g of plant protein.
Ahh it got me too! We're looking for PB2 Performance Cocoa & Peanut Protein. (The vanilla is good too). The extra 5% can be applied to that one too.
I'm a big fan of it, and mix it into my daily batch of overnight oats to add a protein boost. I like that the ingredients are pretty minimal compared to a lot of other plant-based protein powders. The amino acid profile isn't perfect, but, the fact that they add in brown rice protein is probably an improvement over the regular PB2 or PBFit.
