I bought this several years ago when it was about $40. I think it's worth about that much. It's not a high end flight stick. It's nothing amazing but not egregiously terrible, either. I think it's overpriced at $70+ but it's not a bad stick.

Amazon says this one is frequently returned. Curious if anyone has experience with it? I am looking to buy one as a gift, for playing MS Simulator 24

We paid about $65 and it's pretty nice, but can be excessively twitchy and lacks finesse. Also there's no way I'm aware of to calibrate it via console, you need to hook it up to PC to access that. Kind of disappointing when you just want a plug-n-play console controller, but probably good for power users and for PC.

I've purchased two of these. One for Xbox and one for PlayStation. I've owned for several years with no issues.

This thing is not really that great. I would suggest going for Saitek/Logitech x52 If you need to get a cheaper HOTAS; try to find it used if it's not worth $149-$199 or whatever they'd still try to sell it for new. But everything under that is pretty much just a plastic toy and isn't really that good of a joystick.

If you can get this around 30 to $40 it might be worth it to sort of dip your toes into the pool but I would suggest going a little higher for better value. I'm not saying you have to dump hundreds on a vkb gladiator or virpil whatever, But you can do better than this one.

I got the black version with a free copy of Top Gun Maverick for $50 a year ago. It works just fine in Microsoft Flight Simulator on my Series X.

It's frequently returned only at Amazon because their delivery is ass. They probably destroy the item during transit. I watched an AMZ driver throw a product I ordered onto the concrete before. They do not handle packages with care. Switch to Walmart plus.

Got this years ago and returned it, it's huge but also very light; it felt like a dollar store toy. I also felt like the sticks had way too much travel, even after I tightened it as much as I could. Again added to the feeling like the thing was gonna fly off my lap or desktop while I was using it.

I miss my sidewinder 3d pro.

I agree 100%, the Saitek/Logitech x52 has performed so well for me over the years!

I purchase the same joystick in December 2017. After I while start having issue that looks like common in review section - it start rolling my plane to the right/left even I do not touch joystick and in perfectly centered by utility. I end up paying 4 time more for A-10 replica HOTAS joystick. bck back that I fly 20+ hrs a week with my team on DCS World.
