Odd - advertised on Amazon as 55% off, but 90 day history shows it has been near the $80 price for over 90 days. I think this price history is incorrect...the Honey app/extension shows a much different story.

That's been the case with a few items for me lately also. And today I clicked "price history" and it just opened Rufus and told me paste the URL or product name lol. They're clearly changing things on the backend.

I went ahead & checked Keepa, it looks like there are 3 price classifications here that matter: "Amazon", "New", and one that's brand new to me—"New, Prime Exclusive". For this product there's almost 4 years worth of data for "New", at least 15 months of data for "Amazon", but this new classification only has 2 months of data (and was only listed VERY briefly) which makes me think that's what the "price tracker" is showing.

Honestly price history is likely very compromised anyway; it's just one more way for Amazon to sell addiitonal services to users and sellers. Third party price trackers COULD mislead people, but they at least have the practical advantage of not being owned by Amazon (yet).

They've recently rolled out a new thing where Prime members get a special lower price that only those who bend the knee can utilize. From what I've seen, it's like putting something on sale temporarily but for "members only".
