The HD 560S are open back wired headphones tuned for detailed, analytical listening, with strong directionality for PC and FPS gaming and clear vocals. They are comfortable for all day wear, easy to EQ, and can run from a PC or a small amp without much trouble. The sound leans bright and bass light, so bass lovers may want EQ, and the open back design lets in outside noise. At around this price, they stand out as a strong value for gaming and casual critical listening.

For work and my first pair of Sennheiser's I got the HD 6XX. Initially there is something called the veil, you have to get used too. Coming from brighter headphones there is a sort of blanket on the sound profile. Initially this took some getting used too but I prefer to wear the HD6XX all day as its a more personal and warmer sound. They also don't need too much power to drive.
So I'd imagine these 560S are more for casual listening and have a similar sound profile. At this price I'd bite if I didn't already have the 6xx. I think you'll enjoy both if you have them. Sort of like wearing a different outfit for different occasions.
