When the coating wears off...when it's missing...where do people think it went?

Don't buy coated knives. Don't buy knife sets.

Spend your knife budget on a few quality knives and a ceramic rod...a chef's knife, utility knife, and paring knife are all you really need. Buy a magnetic wall mount, wash and dry them after use, and enjoy for years.
