2/15/2026 UPDATE: $297 price at Walmart online.
2/5/2026 UPDATE: $306 price at Walmart online.
1/7/2026 UPDATE: Price is back to $329.00 and free shipping. Still a nice deal. I just received delivery of the item in two boxes and boxes are in good shape. Going to open them up and assemble this weekend.
1/4/2026 UPDATE price has now dropped to $296.99 and free shipping!

This apparent new version of the previously posted Mikolo multifunction squat rack cage back in May, 2025, now has 2-inch spacing between the 1-inch holes in this model F4 2.0. The holes are also numbered. The previous one had comments of having 4-inch spacing of the 1-inch holes. Also this new version has the padded lap brace, which has five height adjustments, to hold you down during the LAT pulls. This new version is $306 as of 2/5/2026 (vs $300 in the post back in May, 2025) with free shipping from Walmart.

There is another very nice posted Mikolo multifunction squat rack cage with cross cable feature for only $399 at Walmart. But that one does not appear to include the LAT pull down or padded lap brace bar. Also, it has a larger footprint (19SF vs 14SF), is taller at 86.4 inches vs 82.6 inches. Maybe importantly, it appears to have the less desirable 4-inch spacing between the 1-inch holes.

A rack cage is not just for young people. Check out this 80+ yr old couple who STARTED muscle strengthening in their 80s using a weighted vest and a rack cage to safely do weight lifts. Under the guidance of a physical therapist and weight trainer, here is the video showing their 8-week mark of progress doing muscle strengthening only twice a week. There are other subsequent videos showing impressive strength gains, and more importantly, improved mobility, stamina, and joyful spirit.

I have this exact cage in all black color. Works great for me! Should work the same for everyone except the advanced/elite body builders. I got it for $200 new in box from fb marketplace 2 years ago.

This one is not "better" than the other. The $99 Balancefrom rack has thicker uprights at 2.3x2.3" while this Mikolo is 2x2". Thicker/wider uprights and braces generally equal "better" in terms of weight handling and stability. However, this rack includes more than the Balancefrom. It has plate holders, landmine, split squat/pulldown pad, etc. not included with the Balancefrom. This rack will be great for most home gyms. Unless you are doing powerlifting or regularly moving over 500-pound barbells on squats or bench, this will be adequate and then some. Good home gym setup at a good price.

I think the BalanceFrom cage has 4-inch spacing between the 1-inch holes. if anyone can verify.

Nice to hear you are satisfied with this Mikolo cage... This is my first (and likely last) squat rack cage since I'm 69 y.o.! Finally can take down my door pull up bars, move on from my limited bench press rack which I have to always reconfigure to do squats, and do real dips instead of using a chair... very eager to get the unit. I really like that the footprint is similar width and reasonable length compared to my current set up.

1/13/2026 UPDATE: Been using this Mikolo F4 version 2.0 (The boxes state this is model F6), for a while and it is so nice! Did a 254lb squat "fail" onto the safety bars and it was solid. Added wooden rings and abd sling straps to pull up bar and it is solid. I would like to buy another barbell holder for the other side to hold my curl bar which was a SD for $10.

The 2-inch spacing between the 1-inch holes it so helpful and glad I put that feature high on the priority list as others have suggested in other posts about cages.

At first I did not bother to attach the band braces along the bottom of frame. But other members of the family use bands and found those braces to be very useful to add to the different uses of the bands. Who knew?

Also, just having this cage makes me so eager to use it and get a work out pretty quickly. Time saver, money saver.

1/15/2026 UPDATE: The Mikolo safety bars have on one end a plastic sleeve which can be removed to reveal holes hidden by the sleeve which can be used with a pin to secure the safety bar... Just put the plastic sleeve on the other end where there is no such hole. The pins provided (for other features like the band braces) with the model F4 version 2.0 have very functional large ring-pulls which can fold over the pin to prevent the pin from dropping out off the hole... Very nice unknown perk!

Saw this yesterday and missed it for $205 now priced at $339. Super bumped missed the $296, that's amazing.

Ordered the balancefrom but missed their lat pulldown deal so debating getting the F4 instead. Hoping it drops again....I guess I could be patient 😂

I just learned that of the Mikolo squat rack models, only the F4 version 2.0 and the HR05 have 1:1 ratio pulley systems. All other currently available Mikolo squat rack models have 2:1 ratio pulley systems. The 2:1 ratio means you have to put on twice the weight to achieve the desired weight you want to lift. Ex; you have to put on 200lbs to use the cable pulley for a resistance of 100lbs. You'll be likely buying more weights. I prefer the 1:1 ratio pulley system because you put on 100lbs to lift 100 lbs. You can likely keep the number of plates to a reasonable number.

I just visited a display which had 2:1 ratio cable pulley system. SO GLAD I got the 1:1 ratio cable lat pulley system instead. They had to put on 300lbs of plates for the cable to be equivalent to a 150lb weight lift. What a waste of plates and a lot of moving around plates. Pass on 2:1 cable ratio pulley systems.
