Been a daily user of this watch since buying the 2024 version. I usually upgrade yearly through Samsung trade-in, but there wasn't enough of a difference internally (and literally zero externally) to go to the 2025 version.

If I had to do something different again, I'd probably not activate the cellular function on it. I'm not sure I've used it even once, but T-Mobile gets $120 a year from me for it. I probably should stop being lazy and cancel it.

You can fit standard 22mm watch bands with adapters available on Amazon. I have some nicer all-leather straps I use with the adapters. There are plenty of watch bands you can buy on Amazon and eBay that will fit the proprietary watch band connector. I frequently change bands, and I have seen no decrease in grip from the latching mechanism over a year and a half of changing bands.

No waterproofing issues. I swim and shower with it regularly. I have taken it in salt water in multiple places in the world at this point. No issues. And I never press the water setting, which, honestly, I have no idea what it does.

2024 version with 32GB of storage in case anyone needs those details. 2025 version has 64GB of storage.
Still a decent deal.

I bought one from eBay around this price a month and a half ago and I have absolutely no issues with it.

Anyone know the battery condition on these? My GW 5 Pro already has substantially degraded battery health after about 2.5 years...

A company should just make a 2inch rectangular screen watch. I'd be the new pipboy

That's weird. My 5 pro still lasts 3 full days (as opposed to 4 when I bought new), that said I'm still looking to upgrade to an ultra but I prefer brand new unless it's the current Gen, then I'd settle for like new.

Genuinely curious... Why would you take a shower with your watch on?? Showers are so you can clean yourself. Keeping your dirty watch on, kinda defeats that purpose.

I've had this watch since it was released and I love it. BIGGEST issues with the Samsung Watch Ultra is charging - it is very slow and uses a very specific wireless charger. That said, I still highly recommend this watch when you can get it at a discount.

İf you don't hit the water setting, it will never clear out speakers. over time, when you use music or speakerphone feature, you will hear broken speaker like noises from being clogged

I received this watch right from the start. T-Mobile had an incredible one-day promotion where I traded in my Watch 3 and got the Ultra for just $99, so it was an easy decision. I have no regrets at all!
