I bought one of these a few months ago and here are my thoughts.
It took about four different exchanges to get one that was not fully damaged. All of them arrived with the screen completely shattered even though the box was intact. On the last one that wasn't broken, they beefed up the packaging some and I guess that was the problem.
The screen itself is OK. It's way too dark for me, and especially if you use dark mode, the entire panel gets pretty dim. The colors look good and the refresh rate is nice, but it's just too dark. If there was a way to disable the local dimming, I would do that. There's a pretty bad halo around your mouse pointer if you're looking at a dark screen.
For the price, it's not bad, but I definitely wouldn't pay any more than this.
ordered one a few weeks ago. Took a week to ship out, arrived broken. No exchange process. I have read this happened to multiple people.
I literally just packed mine back up to return them. I bought two. One worked fine but I could tell the screen on the other was broken before I even turned it on.
Acer does not package these well. Mine came in a thin cardboard box with corner bubble wrap around the monitor, but basically no other padding or protection inside.
The boxes weren't even fully closed before they were shipped out. One of the boxes had about a half-inch gap, taped, at the top opening. The other had a massive tear running down one corner. I'm honestly surprised it didn't completely rip open and leave the monitor somewhere along the journey.
The one monitor that worked looked good and it does come with a two-year warranty, but Acer said it doesn't do exchanges and since I want matching monitors and don't want to deal with another lottery, I decided to return both. YMMV.

I ordered during the last sale during November, and man it's a dumb monitor. It's glitching and everything with stuck dimming zones. Currently in chat with them to get a refund. The monitor doesn't even auto detect the inputs properly either and you'd have to turn it off, wait 1-3 minutes, then turn it back on again. Even then, it gets stuck in a black screen and I had to memorize the buttons to reset the entire thing through the onboard settings. When it worked, it was good but the refurbished one I received has too much annoyances. Luckily it was cheap compared buying new.... It also had HORRRIBLE glow, but suddenly fixed itself 1 weeks later with it off. I'm so confused with this monitor. I'd stay away. I only bought it because people were raving about it but I guess refurbish units are hit or miss, especially on eBay. Hopefully Acer helps me with this situation. Am waiting on a reply right now.
