IKEA's USB wall adapters and other accessories are considered sleepers by those who follow that kind of stuff -- not flashy, but good, solid performers with legitimate safety marks and backed by a reputable company that will issue a recall and make things right if prudent.

In short, the kind of things that some of the alphabet-soup adapter deals often pushed on the front page lack.

A good option for those within vicinity of one of their stores.

These ARE a deal even at sticker. They are fully certified and have the lowest idle wattage possible. IKEA is doing a solid for the world.

Curious why is there such a big price difference between 20W and 65W. At first I thought maybe 20W was a price mistake

$25 looks like regular price for 65W. The 20W model has the $3.99 price highlighted in yellow indicating it is on special.

It looks like a good deal, but my local store is OOS. I attempted to place an online order, but two of my credit cards were unable to be processed. Maybe better luck tomorrow.

Can you assemble 80W for $16 instead of paying $25 for 65W?

Another hidden value of the 20W charger is the support for the optional 12V Power Delivery mode as well as the 15V PD mode. The latter is especially helpful for tablets and certain faster charging modes. In contrast, most 20W chargers tend to be phone-specific with support only for 5V and 9V modes.

There's also claimed support for QuickCharge 3.0 though this feature likely has limited value/support beyond certain mid-range Samsung devices.

Good luck!

Just picked up the 65 Watt and it is working very well. Like that I can use it for multiple devices with different power needs.

Idle wattage? As in power pulled when no device is connected? I had no idea that was a thing. How much do the bad ones pull vs the good ones?

Costco has Anker 70w + 30w for $30 shipping included. Anker is probably one of the most reputable brands in this space... Why are people getting excited about this Ikea deal especially for the 65w one?

Agree with Anker brand's reputation, but did you read the 1-star reviews?
