Smaller by about 17% than the normal pro controller, no nfc reader for amiibo or rumble, although the smaller form factor might make ideal for kids

I hate that the wake up functionality was 90% of the reason I got the new pro controller lol. I have become such a sloth as a result

In for 1. Annoyed the old Switch 1 Pro controllers can't "wake up" the console by pressing the home button. It looks like this should be able to do it otherwise will return if not.

Edit: looks like it cannot wake the console by pressing the home button. Going to return.

What makes you think this controller can? The only third party option that has figured it out is 8bitdo and it requires a shake function.

I don't know if it does, I am just hoping it does. Will return if it does not. Looks like a new SKU as I never seen it before that is why I think it will.

Not hall effect, no rumble (according to listing), battery doesn't seem to be easily replaceable.

Super basic but a solid price. You can get wired 8BitDo controllers that are ~$18 or less each on sale with hall effect that may be better for most people if you don't mind wired.
