It's a slightly better deal if you choose one 12-pack and two 4-packs = $2.68 per roll. The original posted deal = $2.83 per roll. Basically getting one extra roll free.

are those all select a size packagings and total above $50 for gift card promo? Always make sure people are comparing apples to apples on these comparisons.

Deal is meh to bad for those wondering about the numbers. Comes out to close to 4¢ per sq ft after $15 GC ($2.00/roll). Nowhere near close to stock up prices.

Yes, they're all select-a-size. They're from the same link you provided, just selecting one 12 and two 4 instead of three 6. And yes, they total more than $50 for the gift card.

and of course you have a better deal to share with us? this is 54 reg roll equivalent, so 65c per roll. There is no better deal on bounty towels right now that I'm aware of.

Kirkland Create-A-Size is a much better deal than this. That said, whether there is another deal available is irrelevant to whether this is a good deal or, more importantly, a Slickdeal. It is objectively and decidedly neither based on the numbers.

Calculating the price per roll based on the manufacturer's arbitrary 'roll count" numbers is also misleading and the incorrect way to determine the value of the deal, which is why we use square footage. 2¢ per sq ft is the target number; this deal is nearly double that after the GC, which means it sucks. You don't have to like it but that's the truth according to the math.

Unless you absolutely need paper towels, you should stay away from this "deal." And if you do absolutely need some, you should just go to Costco or an equivalent where you can easily find paper towels for under 2¢/sq ft.

Look this Costco comparison stuff is absurd. Most Americans DO NOT belong to costco for starters and this is also free shipping to home. Many also get 5% off with a red card.

I disagree with you on relevancy on another deal. Paper towels are regular household item, if you need them you need them. Joining costco for $65 to save $3 isn't a deal for most. If you belong anyway, great, go drive to costco and buy them. But I'll guarantee you can't show me a better deal at a non membership club on BRAND NAME Bounty, which also qualifies for a $15 visa rebate on $50 spend which I didn't even mention in the post. Or that people get 10% DISCOUNTED GIFT CARDS AT TARGET. I can sit around crunching numbers until the cows come home too. This is a great deal for most. it it isn't for you, by all means shop at Costco.

Telling me about a Costco deal when I don't have a costco within 25 miles of my house or I don't belong to one, is totally useless information.

I buy six rolls of sparkle for $7.50 from either Walmart or Amazon once a month. I look at a deal like this and I think the price is still ridiculous for this brand & amount. Am I wrong?

I assume you mean 6 double rolls, 12 for $7.5? So you'd still spend almost $35 on Sparkle to get 54 rolls at the $7.50 per 12 reg rolls price.

Bounty is definitely a much better quality product, so if I was presented with the choice of getting Bounty or Sparkle for the same price, I'd get Bounty. That said, I've used sparkle, I think for their price point it's a decent paper towel but not in Bounty's league. But given what you are paying, this deal is hardly ridiculous as a value goes.
