Careful with these. Got a bunch the last time they went on sale for $1 via Amazon several weeks ago, (was posted on here), didn't find out till days ago that 2 of the 5 bars I bought were moldy, despite the exp date being in 2027. (And yes, I know the difference between mold and normal bloom on chocolate)

I'd open them upon arrival and just store them in the fridge thereafter.

thanks for the tip. i used to buy scharffen berger in the 9.7 ounce bars but it's no longer available. thoughts on how close this is to that one?

Yikes! I just found some in my pantry that expired 3 years ago...
